Definitions
Team-Logic combines many business functions that were previously only available if you purchased several different software packages, and then tried to make them work together. Other providers charge a fortune to provide only a portion of what Team-Logic provides out of the box. There are many buzzwords and technology acronyms that are used to describe the functionality that Team-Logic provides, so below are some definitions.- CMS - Content Management System. Your employees login to the system, and they can then manage the content in your web site.
- CRM - Customer Relationship Management. Formerly only available to call centers and huge organizations, this is functionality that allows your employees to better determine how to be proactive with your customer accounts and follow-up with them.
- SFA - Salesforce Automation. Writing business letters, placing phone calls, and sending emails takes up a lot of a salesperson's time. Team-Logic helps to streamline these activities, while providing productivity reports, time tracking, and invoicing.
- SAAS - Software As A Service. SAAS describes the trend of companies that are moving away from managing business software servers in-house. Business applications are migrating to the web more and more because it makes deployment, upgrades, and support much faster and less expensive. This will continue to be the trend with most business software in the future.
